Virtual Field Trips
Uncle Cory visits the various Nā Wai ‘Ekolu study sites to see what stream biodiversity occurs in Makiki, Mānoa, and Pālolo Streams. These videos were made in response to social distancing regulations during covid-19 pandemic, so that students and educators could still have a field experience, even if they cannot be physically there. The field trips are intended to be watched after an introductory lesson, and followed up with data exploration and place-based curriculum developed by ‘Iolani School.
